Yiting Wang is a media artist from Beijing, China currently living in Los Angeles, California. She received a Bachelor of Media Arts in video production and media studies from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. Her early artworks focused on the theme of cross-cultural differences, while her recent practices begin to explore the emerging cultural phenomena of the “single-child” generation in China and its social shifts. Short videos and films are mainly applied to realize these subjects, although interactive installation is always her pursuit towards her artistic expression. Yiting has recently completed her MFA degree in Design | Media Arts department in UCLA.
